How to watch The Ashes 2025-26 from anywhere with a VPN
Both England and Australia have major concerns from the outset – see how things develop free-of-charge
- Stream all Ashes 2025 Tests for FREE on 7Plus (Australia)
- Use NordVPN to watch any stream from anywhere
The 2025 Ashes is being widely hailed as England's best opportunity to wrest back the urn since their last series victory in 2015. Considering Ben Stokes' shoulder, Jofra Archer's elbow, Mark Wood's knee and Joe Root's recent travails with the bat, it seems a touch optimistic.
Not that Australia don't have their own concerns. Pat Cummins will miss the 1st Test at the very least, and the top order is yet to be resolved. Usman Khawaja will anchor the opening stand, but the only other regular opener in the squad is first-class cricket rookie Jake Weatherald. Marnus Labuschagne could be bumped up from No.3, but there'll be a knock-on effect.
It's a really interesting position to start from, particularly as the tourists only have one warm-up game scheduled. Then again, any more than that and they'll run the risk of breaking Stokes, Archer and Wood before the Ashes even begin.
The entirety of the five-Test series is free-to-air on 7Plus, but the Australian streaming platform only works Down Under. A good VPN, however, will let you tap into that free Ashes coverage from anywhere.
