The NBA All-Star weekend 2026 is here, and the hype is real. Hosted at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, this year’s edition promises tons of excitement thanks to a new round-robin format. Each game will last just 12 minutes, and instead of the traditional East vs West battle, three teams – two American teams (USA Stars and USA Stripes) and one World Team – will now compete to reach the championship final on Sunday.
You can watch most of it across NBC and ESPN – cheapest NBA streaming options below, plus how to get 50% off streaming on Slingand a $50 Amazon gift card.
Oklahoma City Thunder’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who was named MVP for the 2025-26 season, will miss the game due to an abdominal strain. That’s a huge blow, especially after he averaged over 30 points per game. In his absence, the World Team will rely on Lakers star Luka Dončić, who averaged 32.8 points, and Nikola Jokić, who posted 10.7 assists per game.
Of course, all eyes will once again be on LeBron James, who is set to make his incredible 22nd straight NBA All-Star appearance – a record that may never be broken. He’s coming off another strong season, averaging 21.9 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 6.6 assists.
Sadly, the Stripes will miss Stephen Curry, who has been sidelined with a knee injury. The Stars, meanwhile, will lean on Anthony Edwards, who averaged 29.3 points, and Cade Cunningham, who led the way with 9.6 assists per game.
