I feel like many of us have felt the heat lately, so one offer that stands out to me above everything is this Shark FlexBreeze Hybrid Pedestal Fan for £149.99 (was £199.99). You might think that's a fair chunk of change for a fan, but having used one for a couple of years now, I think it's a fantastic piece of kit: quiet, powerful, and portable — all you need.

Some of you may also be shopping for a new TV right now ahead of the World Cup. Currys has dozens of options, from affordable big-screen displays to premium OLED TVs for record-low prices. A couple of my top picks are this Hisense E7Q Pro 65-inch QLED TV for £589 (was £749) or the Samsung U8000F 55-inch 4K TV for £329 (was £359).

Many more deals that have caught my eye can be found below, as well as a summary of all the top tech categories in the Currys bank holiday sale. Just a note: these offers will expire in a week.

Shark FlexBreeze Hybrid Pedestal Fan
Shark FlexBreeze Hybrid Pedestal Fan: was £199.99 now £149.99 at Currys

It reached over 30 degrees in some parts of the UK this week, so I was very glad to have this fan ready for the heatwave, as it solves all the problems I had with other cheap fans. It's powerful and quiet, even on a low to medium setting, blasting out enough cool air without disturbing sleep. I've found that the portability is a huge plus, too. You can use it as a standard tower fan, either plugged into the mains or go cordless for up to 24 hours. With the classic rush for fans in the hotter summer months, I think now's a smart time to buy.

Another sales event, another chance for me to shout out an offer on an excellent and affordable vacuum cleaner that we awarded 4.5 stars out of five in our Shark Stratos Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner review. I can't praise these vacuums enough for the Anti-Hair Wrap tech that has saved me so much time unclogging the brush roll compared to my old vacuum. Apple AirPods Pro 3
Apple AirPods Pro 3: was $219 now $199 at Currys

No, it's not a massive discount. But it's still a rare price cut on Apple's newest and most advanced ANC earbuds. The main difference between the Pro 3 and Pro 2 is the addition of heart rate sensing, although if you have an Apple Watch, you've got that covered already. Still, these are an excellent pair of noise-cancelling earbuds.

JVC CT150 32-inch HD TV
JVC CT150 32-inch HD TV: was £139.99 now £119 at Currys

I'll say upfront that you shouldn't expect a cinematic wonderland from an HD TV at this size and price (although it does support HDR, which is nice), but what I really rate here is that it's just a simple smart TV at a great price. The Freely TV interface is easy to use, intuitive, and supports all the key streaming services. Sony Bravia 8 II 55-inch OLED TV
Sony Bravia 8 II 55-inch OLED TV: was £1,999 now £1,799 at Currys

The latest version of Sony's Bravia 8 is an incredible OLED TV that boasts some of the best picture quality to date, according to our review. The display was only released this year and this is the biggest discount yet. Sure, it's still quite the investment, but you do get a picture quality that's bright, vivid, and detailed, with strong in-built sound as well. It's perhaps not the best pick for gamers, though, given it lacks some features compared to the competition.
