Currys launches a last-minute Epic Deals sale — here are the 13 best tech bargains I'd buy before Christmas
Save on TVs, appliances, laptops, vacuums, and more
Currys clearly didn't want its Black Friday sale to end. Hot off that event, the retailer has just launched a new set of Epic Deals, featuring some Black Friday-level prices across a vast array of TVs, appliances, laptops, tablets, vacuums, and more. If you're shopping for a last-minute gift idea or a tech bargain, I've found the 13 best deals worth checking out.

My top picks include some excellent value laptops, such as this powerful Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 for £549 (was £849), a well-priced pod coffee machine bundle, with this Nespresso Vertuo Pop and Milk Frother for £97 (was £199), and a cheap budget gaming monitor, as this AOC C27G4ZXE 27-inch Curved Gaming Monitor drops to £99 (was £159).
What's most impressive about the majority of these offers is that they are available for exactly the same prices as we saw during Black Friday. So, if you missed out during last month's sales event, you've got a second chance to score some of the biggest bargains of the year.
With last delivery dates expected around December 19, you've got a little over a week to get any final shopping done before Christmas. After that, you'll want to check out the Boxing Day sales that will inevitably get underway from December 26.

Display - 14 inches
Processor - Intel Core 3
RAM - 8GB
Storage - 256GB
This updated version of the Asus Chromebook Plus offers an impressive amount of power for the price. It includes 8GB of RAM and an Intel Core 3 processor, boosting performance, boot times and load times. There's also a decent 256GB of storage for the price, and battery life is excellent at 12 hours on a single charge. That's more than enough to last a full working day. At a little under £250, it's a bargain for school or college, or just as a home laptop that you use for light use and everyday tasks.

Display - 14 inches
Processor - Intel Core Ultra 5
RAM - 16GB
Storage - 512GB
This is a great price for a powerful and flexible mid-range laptop with some surprisingly high-end features. The Core Ultra 5 processor, 16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD ensure speedy and responsive performance for everyday use. It's the 14-inch OLED screen that's a real highlight, though, giving you a sharper and brighter image that's great for just general tasks or when watching shows and movies.

If you're looking for a small-sized budget display, you can't get much better than this Hisense 43-inch 4K TV that's on sale for £219 at Currys. The Hisense A6Q sports 4K Ultra HD resolution support, a direct-lit LED array for respectable brightness and contrast, and Dolby Vision HDR for superior colours. Access to all of your favourite streaming apps is just a button press away, too. All of this for a little over £200? Bargain.

I'll say upfront that you shouldn't expect a cinematic wonderland from an HD TV at this size and price (although it does support HDR, which is nice), but what I really rate here is that it's just a simple smart TV at a great price. The Freely TV interface is easy to use, intuitive, and supports all the key streaming services. So, if you want a small TV that does the job and has all the smart viewing options you could want to watch your favourite shows and movies, here it is.

Now that Amazon's crazy offer on the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 has sold out, one of your next best options if you want a cheap Windows laptop is this HP OmniBook 5 at Currys. It's fairly basic, with an Intel i3 processor, 8GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, but that's enough to handle everyday use and light work comfortably. As well as a solid 13 hours of battery life, the 512GB of storage at this size is a nice inclusion.

If you're shopping for a reasonably-sized and budget gaming monitor, this is a solid price for an affordable option from the top brand AOC. Key features include its 27-inch curved panel, 1080p resolution support, high 280Hz refresh rate, low 0.3ms response time, and HDMI 2.0 / DP 1.4 compatibility.

One of the best budget air fryer deals available at Currys right now is this heavily reduced Tefal Easy Fry. It's a decent-sized 8.3L model that's almost at the same price as smaller 5-litre options I've seen at other retailers. We haven't personally reviewed this model at TechRadar, but it's from a trusted brand, and it's down to the lowest price I've seen all year.

For a premium option, I recommend this Asus Zenbook 14 OLED at AO. This is a powerful machine that boasts a high-end Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, a performance-boosting 32GB of RAM and a large 1TB SSD. You also get a slick 14-inch OLED display that ensures a bright and sharp picture for regular use or for when you want to stream your favourite shows at the end of the day.

Processor - Apple M2
RAM - 16GB
Storage - 256GB
This version of the older MacBook Air M2 with 16GB of RAM is down to a new low price at Currys. Even though we're up to the MacBook M4 now, this version with the M2 chip remains an excellent all-rounder, especially for day-to-day tasks such as browsing the internet and word processing, and it also has the power for more demanding creative and productivity tasks. Ultimately, you'll struggle to find a better value Apple laptop than this right now.

Shark makes some of the best value and most powerful vacuum cleaners on the market, and this is a terrific option for pet owners. I can't praise these vacuums enough for the Anti-Hair Wrap tech that has saved me so much time unclogging the brush roll compared to my old vacuum. Flexology tech makes it a good option for reaching under furniture, and this PowerPro Pet version includes useful accessories to tackle stubborn dirt and pet hair.

There's a solid £100 discount on the newest iPad Air with the M3 chip at Currys, matching the Black Friday price. This model was a somewhat surprising update, given that the M2 version only just launched last year, but both devices are around the same price, so you may as well get the newer version. As well as that more powerful chip, the latest iPad Air boasts a crisp Liquid Retina display, 128GB of storage as standard, 12MP front and back cameras, and support for Apple Intelligence AI features.

Ninja's space-saving air fryer is back to the same price we saw during Black Friday at Currys. We love the popular and well-rated appliance at TechRadar, scoring it full marks in our Ninja Double Stack Air Fryer review and even giving it a place in our best air fryer buying guide. Well-built and great-looking on any countertop, it offers five cooking levels across two drawers and two racks, while the large 7.2L capacity is ideal for large families.
