There are some huge Cyber Monday deals on home security cameras right now, but not all of them are quite as good as they seem. Some cameras only give you very basic features unless you also buy a monthly or annual subscription, which can add up to several times the cost of the hardware.

That's why I've combed the web to put together a collection of the very best deals on subscription-free home security cameras, which won't sting you with hidden fees. All of these cams let you save your footage at home rather than in the cloud, and some even offer features like AI facial recognition at no extra cost.

We've reviewed a lot of Eufy security cameras over the years here at TechRadar, and this one is particularly spectacular value for Cyber Monday with £80 off. It has 8GB on-board storage, pan-and-tilt to cover your whole garden, and a solar panel for super-long battery life. At under £100, it's a great security investment.

I'm a big fan of Swann's video doorbells and cameras, all of which offer fantastic subscription-free features, so I was very pleased to see this great Cyber Monday discount on the excellent MaxRanker4K. As its name suggests, it captures super high-resolution footage, and my colleague Hamish Hector awarded it four stars out of five in his review.

Eufy Security EufyCam 2C System

We awarded this security system four and a half stars out of five in our review, praising the durable build and extra-long battery life of its cameras (the setup we tested had two, but this bundle is even better with three). Your videos are stored safely indoors on the hub that's included, and at almost half price, it's outstanding value.

One of the more modest Cyber Monday deals in this list, but the S2 is such a cool design, I had to include it. We reviewed it just a few weeks ago, and its innovative solar panel that rotates around the camera's body really works. It supports SD cards up to 256GB and has superb built-in facial recognition without a subscription.

With some of these cameras, you have the option of buying cloud storage in addition to saving your videos locally, but it's never mandatory. Keeping your own videos means you're in control of your own data, which is reassuring, though always make sure you back it up regularly.
