Vodafone was previously offering double-data on some of its SIM-only plans, but that deal has now ended. While Vodafone's cheapest SIM plan costs AU$39p/m, I'd argue the Medium plan with 200GB data is greater value. On top of the huge data allowance, you also get unlimited international minutes to Zone 1 countries.

The brand-new Galaxy S26 Ultra is one powerful phone. Vodafone is honouring the discounted SIM plan price for whichever duration of contract you choose.

If you don't need all the bells and whistles of the Ultra, the base model Galaxy S26 still has plenty to offer. You get an excellent camera system, a gorgeous 6.3-inch display and a lightning-fast Exynos 2600 processor.

Apple iPhone 17e (256GB) | 200GB | 24 months | AU$90.62p/m

The iPhone 17e is a shoo-in to be the best cheap iPhone, as it delivers remarkable value, even compared to the higher-spec iPhone 17. It gets the powerful A19 processor, which brings with it smarter camera performance. Vodafone isn't offering any discount on the phone, which is a shame, but you can trade-in your device to get some money knocked off.

Snagging the best phone Apple has ever made and pairing it with Vodafone's Medium plan is admittedly a costly endeavour (and that's before you think about increasing the storage!) but it really is a formidable device, and I think the 200GB of monthly data included plan will be more than enough for most people (perhaps even overkill!). Since I've already highlighted the Galaxy S26 Ultra further up this page, the Z Fold 7 deserves a mention here as the best premium pick. This is easily the best foldable phone around right now, exhibiting a gorgeous and slim design, fantastic internal and external screens and highly capable cameras. Be warned though, this plan ain't cheap!
