One-day only: Telstra’s speediest NBN plans are just AU$2 for two months
Pay just a dollar a month for NBN 50, 100, 250 or 1000
Telstra is offering an insanely low price across its speediest NBN plans, dropping the cost down to just AU$2 for your first two months.
If you want to lock-in this epic deal, you’ll need to sign up today (Thursday, April 7), as the offer is available for one-day only as part of Telstra Day.
The AU$2 for two months offer is available on all of Telstra’s NBN plans, with the exception of its entry-level NBN 25 plan. That means you can get NBN 50, NBN 100, NBN 250 and NBN 1000 for AU$2 over two months, with a maximum saving of AU$358 on offer.
Once that discount ends though, you can expect your monthly bill to increase significantly – after the first two months, you’ll be paying AU$95 a month for NBN 50, AU$110 a month for NBN 100, AU$140 a month for NBN 250 or AU$180 a month for NBN 1000.
With that said though, it’s relatively risk-free to try out one of Telstra’s fastest NBN plans in this deal. All of the plans come on a no lock-in contract, and if you want to jump ship within the first 24 months, you can just return your modem or pay a AU$200 no-return fee.
There’s no denying that Telstra has some of the most expensive NBN plans on the market, but if you’re looking for a fast and reliable internet connection with some added perks, it can be worth the cost of admission.
Telstra is the only provider to claim a topped-out evening speed of 250Mbps on an NBN 250 plan, and it also holds the title for the highest typical download speed on the NBN 1000 tier, clocking in at 700Mbps in the evening hours (its closest competitors claim 600Mbps)
Its NBN 100 plan also quotes a maxed-out evening speed of 100Mbps, but there are a small handful of providers such as Optus, Exetel and Spintel who also reach this speed at a cheaper cost, so the value from Telstra isn’t as strong in this tier.
If you’re keen to claim Telstra’s AU$2 for two months offer, head to Telstra and sign up today.
