The headline grabbers are a selection of shows that haven't been widely available in the UK before. Yellowstone, the behemoth, Kevin Costner-led hit is available to stream, and the show's prequel 1883, too. Super Pumped, the story of how Uber broke all the rules and became a tech giant, which stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Uma Thurman, is another UK exclusive for the streamer, as is Mayor Of Kingstown, a gritty drama starring Jeremy Renner and Kyle Chandler about a family whose business is prison, quite literally.

We've got starry new period drama The First Lady, the mega-expensive Halo TV adaptation as well as The Offer, the new show exploring the troubled making of The Godfather, and The Man Who Fell To Earth, which acts a sequel to David Bowie's classic 1976 movie.

There's now a broad range of older shows too – shows like Billions, The Affair, City On A Hill, Blue Bloods, CSI, Fraiser, Dexter, South Park and Elementary are all there, as are kids shows like Sponge Bob Squarepants and Paw Patrol.

Paramount Plus is also the home of Star Trek, with Strange New Worlds (a Paramount, The Next Generation, Discovery, The Original Series, Deep Space Nine, Prodigy, Enterprise, Voyager and a host movies available to stream now.

On the film front, things began a little patchily but are beginning to fill out now – there's a really diverse range here. We'll list a few to show you what we mean. Pulp Fiction, The Talented Mr Ripley, American Beauty, Scream, Grease, Transformers, Ferris Bueller's Day off and No Country for Old Men are just some of the titles on offer.

As well as that iconic collection, there are recent blockbusters like the two Sonic the Hedgehog films.
