Amazon quietly launched a major Spring Sale earlier this week, and we've been keeping an eye out for noteworthy savings. One such example is the Samsung 55-inch QLED QEF1 4K, available at a record-low price of £331.55 (was £589). It's an entry-level model, but a whopping 44% discount is not to be sniffed at.

The deal ends on the 16th of March, leaving you little time to decide. Its performance is unlikely to compete with Samsung's flagship models like the S90F and Q60D, but if you don't want to part with that much cash, the QEF1 is absolutely worth considering.
Save 44% on Samsung 55-inch QLED QEF1 TV
You can score a massive 44% discount on an already relatively affordable 55-inch 4K, which is almost unheard of. With 4K upscaling, True Quantum Dot technology, and Object Tracking Sound Lite, this is a solid set of features for an entry-level TV.
We haven't reviewed the QLED QEF1, but Samsung TVs generally perform very well in testing. What we can do is give you a rundown of the main specs and how they might affect you, the end user.
The primary feature of this TV is 4K upscaling, which turns any resolution picture into 4K output. With much content broadcast and streamed in Full HD (1920 x 1080 px), this represents a significant improvement in image detail.
Colour and brightness claim to be "vivid" and "boosted" courtesy of True Quantum Dot and 100% Colour Volume. This should lead to a lifelike viewing experience, although more expensive models are likely to deliver a superior output.
Beyond the picture, the QEF1 includes Object Tracking Sound Lite so sound follows the action on screen, Tizen OS for interacting with smart apps, and a slim design that blends into your décor.
