Before Black Friday, I highlighted some pretty darn excellent deals on the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro, but my pick for one of the best cheap tablets has now dropped to an even lower price in the afterglow of Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Lenovo Idea Tab Pro
Save $129.01
Lenovo Idea Tab Pro: was $389 now $259.99 at Lenovo USA

The Lenovo Idea Tab Pro is, for us, the best Android-powered tablet money can buy for under $400, and Lenovo's own $259.99 deal is the best price we've ever seen for this particular model. This tablet is ideal for streaming *and* studying thanks to its 12.7-inch 3K display, and its MicroSD card support is an unusual bonus at this price point.

Lenovo Idea Tab Pro: was £379.99 now £249 at Amazon

Amazon is currently offering an equivalent record-low deal on the Idea Tab Pro. While we're big fans of the OnePlus Pad Go and OnePlus Pad Lite (both of which are exclusive to the UK), you won't find a better Android-powered tablet for under £400 than Lenovo's 12.7-inch slate. £249 is a phenomenal deal on an extremely underrated tablet, and if Amazon's stock runs low, Laptops Direct is running the same offer.

As for hardware specs, the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro boasts a 12.7-inch, 120Hz display (that's larger and faster than the display on Apple's iPad, by the way), a long-lasting 10,200mAh battery, and a Mediatek Dimensity 8300 chipset that can easily handle streaming, gaming, and light productivity tasks.

In our Lenovo Idea Tab Pro review, we described the tablet as "a great all-rounder" that's "ideal for media consumption thanks to its sound and screen," and its support for MicroSD cards means you don’t have to worry about running out of space.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE
Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE: was $499.99 now $324.68 at Amazon

Willing to spend a bit more? Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE is Samsung's answer to the iPad Air 11-inch, but it bests Apple's tablet with incredible durability that only Samsung delivers. This price is the lowest we've seen, dropping this Tab to base model iPad price levels. In our time reviewing the 13-inch version of this tablet, we loved dunking it in the tub while reading and doomscrolling, or drawing with the included S Pen. This tablet has a fantastic screen and great battery life, and Samsung's software is among the best we've tried on any tablet.

Apple iPad 11-inch (A16, 2025)
Save £30
Apple iPad 11-inch (A16, 2025): was £329 now £299 at Amazon

As mentioned, Apple's latest base iPad is on sale for an almost-record-low £299 right now (it was briefly £284 in October). The most significant upgrade for this model versus the previous generation is the newer A16 chip for faster performance, but you'll also get double the storage as standard (128GB instead of 64GB). Other features include a sharp 11-inch Liquid Retina display and solid 12MP front and back cameras, which make this iPad the best iPad for casual streamers and scrollers. If Amazon's stock runs low, you can find the same deal at Currys.
