I've been recommending this cheap Android tablet all year, and it's finally on sale ahead of Black Friday
The Lenovo Idea Tab Pro is on sale in the US and UK right now
I've already told you why the iPad 11-inch (2025) is the best cheap tablet for most people, but if you're not a fan of Apple's iPadOS software or would prefer a larger screen, then the best affordable Android option in 2025 is the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro – and it's finally on sale in both the US and UK.
Right now, the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro is just $279.99 (was $389.99) on Lenovo's US website, and £279 (was £379.99) on the brand's UK equivalent. In both cases, you'll get a stylus included in the form of the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus, which is something you won't get with Apple's iPad unless you're willing to spend an extra $99 / £99 on an Apple Pencil.
Yes, Black Friday is just around the corner (it falls on November 28 this year), but I don't expect retailers to improve on Lenovo's current $279.99 / £279 deal price, which is a record-low in both the US and UK.
Today's best Lenovo Idea Tab Pro deal
The Lenovo Idea Tab Pro is, for us, the best Android-powered tablet money can buy for under $400, and Lenovo's own $279.99 deal is the best current price available. This tablet is ideal for streaming *and* studying thanks to its 12.7-inch 3K display, and its MicroSD card support is an unusual bonus at this price point.
Lenovo is currently offering an equivalent deal on the Idea Tab Pro on its UK website. While we're big fans of the OnePlus Pad Go and OnePlus Pad Lite (both of which are exclusive to the UK), you won't find a better Android-powered tablet for under £400 than Lenovo's 12.7-inch slate. £279 is a phenomenal deal on an extremely underrated tablet.
As for hardware specs, the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro boasts a large 12.7-inch, 120Hz display, a long-lasting 10,200mAh battery, and a Mediatek Dimensity 8300 chipset that can easily handle streaming, gaming, and light productivity tasks.
In our Lenovo Idea Tab Pro review, we described the tablet as "a great all-rounder" that's "ideal for media consumption thanks to its sound and screen," and its support for MicroSD cards means you don’t have to worry about running out of space.
