We've seen great iPhone 17e deals at Total Wireless over the past few months, but I've just spotted a new promotion that's arguably one of the best yet from the prepaid carrier.

Right now, you can get the device included with Total's 'ALL ACCESS' plan if you stick it out for 24 months. That's a $65/mo unlimited plan with high-speed data on Verizon's Wideband 5G network, 10GB of mobile hotspot allowance, and a free Disney+ Premium subscription.

It's perks like these that make the Total All Access plan a little more feature-laden than the usual prepaid unlimited plan. It's a little pricier, but it's a great choice if you want something more high-end than the usual prepaid fare.

If you'd prefer to buy an iPhone 17e upfront, then there's also the option to get a device for just $399 (was $599) alongside a new line. The caveat is that this discount is only available with a $195 three-month Total Access plan, so there's a real upfront outlay. I'd recommend going for the other deal if you're thinking long-term, as it's the stronger promotion of the two.

Is the iPhone 17e worth picking up?

  • Same A19 chipset as the iPhone 17
  • Magsafe support
  • Upgraded wireless charging
  • Now starts with 256GB of storage

The iPhone 17e starts at $599 / £599, which is the same price as the previous iPhone 16e. That makes sense when you consider it's a relatively iterative generation, but there are actually quite a few upgrades under the hood that make it a better value device.

The biggest upgrade? The new A19 chipset, which is the same processor that the standard iPhone 17 uses. As you'd imagine, that gives you a respectable amount of power on tap here — more than any other mid-range phone right now.

Perhaps the other single biggest upgrade for the iPhone 17e is that the device has been bumped up from 128GB storage to 256GB on the baseline model - quite impressive considering the price is the same. Other quality-of-life improvements include improved wireless charging speeds, MagSafe support, and up-to-date camera modes.
