Last chance! Save £150 on the iPhone 16e with this Black Friday-beating Cyber Monday deal
You won’t find a cheaper iPhone worth buying for a long time
Apple came in for a lot of stick by pricing its 'entry-level' iPhone 16e at £599 earlier this year, but it's finally available for a much more reasonable price thanks to this year's slate of Cyber Monday iPhone deals.

Specifically, Lebara is offering the iPhone 16e for a record-low £449 (was £599), which beats the Black Friday-turned-Cyber Monday deal prices at both Amazon (£499) and Laptops Direct (£479). Lebara is a mobile network operator whose SIM-free products are provided by AO and are subject to AO's terms and conditions, so this is a totally legit offer on one of the best iPhones around.
Granted, the iPhone 16e is a world away from the iPhone 17 Pro, but with its powerful A18 chipset, iPhone 17-equaling 48MP rear camera, and future-proof software compatibility, it's my go-to recommendation if you're a casual iPhone user looking for a no-frills device to see you through the next three or four years.

Today's best iPhone 16e Cyber Monday deals
Lebara has the budget-focused iPhone 16e available for a record-low £449 right now. As Apple's cheapest current-generation handset, the iPhone 16e brings the essential iPhone experience to a more accessible price point, while retaining great features like the 48MP Fusion Camera and Action button. Sure, it was too expensive at launch, but this discounted price is much more in line with that of comparable handsets like the Google Pixel 9a and Samsung Galaxy A56. £449 is a steal.
If you need more storage, Amazon has the 256GB version of the iPhone 16e on sale for a record-low £599 right now. If you ask me, 256GB is a much safer storage option than 128GB (especially if you're planning to hold on to your next phone for at least two years), so I'd urge prospective iPhone 16e buyers to consider this deal over the one above if you can afford to do so (think of it as Amazon giving you double the storage for a full-priced iPhone 16e).
As for the phone's other specs, the iPhone 16e has the same 6.1-inch display as the iPhone 14 (complete with the same notch and 60Hz refresh rate), but it benefits from 8GB of RAM and that aforementioned A18 chipset. That basically means it can run all of the latest apps and games with ease, as well as the full suite of Apple Intelligence tools.
The latter feature might not seem like a selling point now, but with Siri 2.0 on the horizon, you'll be grateful for the iPhone 16e's software compatibility in the very near future (this is also the main reason why I'd recommend the iPhone 16e over the still-excellent iPhone 15).

Apple iPhone 16: free £60 gift card plus up to £650 off with a trade-in at Apple
If you've got an old iPhone to trade in, Apple's trade-in rebate of up to £650 is one of the better trade-in discounts available right now. And if you're shopping for the iPhone 16 specifically, Apple will throw in a free £60 gift card for your troubles (or a £40 gift card if you buy the iPhone 16e). These aren't the best deals in the world, but since many people prefer the security of shopping at Apple directly, they're worth considering (especially if you're pairing up your iPhone with a SIM-only contract).
The iPhone 16 is still a great pick for Apple fans one year after release. It's got a beautiful 6.1-inch display, two high-quality cameras with the Camera Control shutter button, and the speedy A18 chipset with support for Apple Intelligence. At this record-low, Amazon-beating price, the iPhone 16 isn't too much more expensive than the iPhone 16e, and it beats that device on multiple fronts. Lebara is offering all five colours at this record-low price, and if stock runs low, Laptops Direct also has the green variant at £599.
