Irish actor Niamh Algar (The Virtues) is the titular Iris – a bonafide genius who can crack virtually impossible puzzles just for kicks. And when Tom Hollander's (The White Lotus S2) entrepreneur Cameron Beck approaches her to solve a riddle that really matters, it's too tempting an offer for Iris to turn down.
However, it soon becomes apparent that Beck wants Iris to unlock, as our protagonist says, "a machine that could alter the future of humanity".
