Chromebooks are usually cheap but practical laptops meant for simple tasks like web browsing and writing. The Chromebook Plus category, however, is a more premium option that features many of the best Chromebooks. These generally have at least 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, among other requirements to improve efficiency and performance, so they offer a lot more power for the price, while remaining good value for money.
This Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Plus meets and exceeds those requirements, and boasts several other premium additions, such as a sharp AMOLED display and Google AI support.

The Galaxy Chromebook Plus shoots above the standard for a Chromebook Plus laptop. It comes with an Intel Core 3 processor, 8GB RAM, and 256GB of storage to make a solid entry-level device. It's also one of the few Chromebooks with a sharp AMOLED display. It lasts up to 13 hours on one charge, which is even longer than some non-Chromebook laptops.
While we haven't reviewed the Chromebook Plus model in the listing, we praised the standard Samsung Galaxy Chromebook for similar features, including its eye-catching display and chassis. It also includes a variety of ports like USB-C, USB 3.2 Type-A, HDMI, a headphone jack, and a microSD slot, so lots of bases are covered there.
As for the Google AI deal, that gives you a one-year free trial for the Google One AI Premium plan with Gemini Advanced, 2TB of cloud storage, and the ability to use Gemini with popular Google apps like Gmail and Docs. We've talked about the pros and cons between Chromebook and Chromebook Plus for students, but it just simplifies to a sliding scale between budget and convenience. Of course, a Chromebook Plus laptop handles multitasking better, offers more storage, and feels closer to a standard laptop overall.
