The LG B5 is one of my favorite OLED TVs of 2025, and I can't recommend it enough at this Black Friday price
It's no secret that the LG B5 is one of my favorite TVs I've tested this year, and it's now had some big price cuts for Black Friday.
In the US, the 48-inch B5 is down to a record-low price of $549.99 (was $1,299.99) at Best Buy. A terrific offer for this sized model.
In the UK, the 55-inch B5 has crashed to its lowest ever price of £719.10 (was £1,499.99) at Currys when you add the code use code TV10 at checkout. which is exceptional value for a 55-inch OLED.
Of all the Black Friday deals I've seen this year, this is one of my most recommended. It's the cheapest way to get an OLED TV, but you're not compromising on quality.

48-inch B5: Amazon £674.10
65-inch B5: AO member price £1,043, non-member price £1,159
The LG B5 is one of the best TVs I've tested in 2025. I was most impressed by its picture quality. Its blacks are rich and inky, up there with the best OLED TVs, and make movies such as Dark City and Alien: Romulus look fantastic. It also delivers powerful contrast, perfect for movies with plenty of high-contrast scenes such as The Batman.
The B5 has brilliant color reproduction, too. While watching Wicked, I was blown away by how vivid and punchy its colors looked during the Emerald city scenes. Colors had a nice saturation and natural look in bright animated movies such as Elemental.
The B5 is also a superb TV for gaming. When I played Battlefield V, its performance felt smooth and responsive, even during the most intense battle sequences. With a 9.2ms input lag time (in Boost mode), it's no surprise. The B5 also has a list of gaming features up there with the best gaming TVs: 4K 120Hz, FreeSync and G-Sync, HGiG, Dolby Vision gaming and ALLM. All of these are supported on four HDMI 2.1 ports.
webOS 25 is the B5's smart TV platform. It's customizable, intuitive and has all the picture settings you'll need to set up your picture to your liking. It also has new AI features, such as AI Search (US), AI Concierge and a new Sound Wizard to create your own sound profile.
