The 5 best Black Friday 85-inch TV deals, chosen by our TV review team
Home theater heaven starting from under $500, unbelievably
Recently, people have been wanting bigger and bigger TVs – but we don't want the price tag that's been associated with these in the past. Well, this year's Black Friday 85-inch TV deals have catered for our needs – you can get huge discounts on huge TVs. I've been following the offers live on our best Black TV deals guide, so I've picked my favorite 83- to 85-inch deals.
The Insignia Fire TV 85-inch for $499 (was $899) at Amazon is going to draw the most attention, I suspect! That is not a typo, it's really that cheap. The TCL QM6K mini-LED 85-inch TV for $997 at Amazon is the best option under $1,000 in my opinion, and should be very popular. While the LG B5 83-inch OLED TV for $1,999 at Amazon (was $2,499) should draw a lot of attention. That's great value for an OLED at this size – the next model up in LG's range costs over 50% more!
If you decide these are too much in the end, take a look at our guide to the Black Friday 75-inch TV deals, which are much cheaper in a lot of cases, and are still pretty damn big, And we've got our overall guide to the Black Friday deals of all kinds if you're looking for other top tech too!

The discount on this might not look huge, but that doesn't mean it isn't huge value – this extra little discount makes it a fantastic huge-screen TV for the price. I should note that it did very briefly fall to $899 once, so it might be worth holding off to see if that happens again – but I still think it's great buy at this price. TCL QM6K is an unparalleled value, delivering excellent picture quality with vivid colors and strong contrast due to its mini-LED tech, a solid list of gaming features, and an easy-to-navigate smart TV platform. We were very impressed by in our TCL QM6K review.

The TCL QM8K is a premium mini-LED TV, meaning that its picture quality will really hold up at larger screen sizes. It delivers stunning picture quality, with high brightness, bold color and rich contrast with plenty of detail – all perfect for larger sizes. It's also packed with features, especially for gaming with 4K, 144Hz, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Dolby Vision gaming support. We rated it highly in our TCL QM8K review, and with a big discount, we only rate it more highly than ever.

83-inch OLED TVs can be devastating to the wallet, but this one's nowhere near as bad as they can be, but it still delivers the glorious cinematic perfect contrast that you want from an OLED TV, plus perfect off-angle viewing, and all the advanced gaming features you could want. It's not the brightest TV, but for viewing in a controlled lighting environment, this is a home theater bargain. Here's our full LG B5 review.

83-inch OLED TVs are seriously expensive purchases, and this one is no different – but it was a lot more expensive. Awarded five out of five stars in our LG C5 review, the OLED display delivers an outstanding picture thanks to LG's Alpha 9 AI processor Gen8, impressive gaming features, and a comprehensive smart platform featuring all-new and genuinely useful AI capabilities.
