While Tommy's (Billy Bob Thornton) life isn't getting any easier, he's now closer with estranged dad TL (Sam Elliott) after the death of his mom. At the same time as her funeral, Cami (Demi Moore) had some big emotional decisions after visiting the grave of late husband Monty (Jon Hamm).

We're only just at the halfway point of the season, and literally anything could happen in the Paramount+ show. In other words, absolutely anything could happen between now and the season finale (especially as Landman season 3 has already been confirmed).
