The end is near. Stranger Things season 5 will bring down the curtain on one of the biggest Netflix TV Originals of all-time. And, based on everything we've seen so far, it looks like it'll go out with an epic and highly emotional bang.

Ahead of release, there are many questions we need answering about Stranger Things, including when its fifth and final installment will premiere. So, let's not delay the inevitable any longer – here's all the important information you need to know about Stranger Things 5's launch.

After a three-and-a-half year wait, the final installment of one of the best Netflix shows will make its bow on Wednesday, November 26. Well, in North and South America, anyway – the rest of the world will need to tune into the world's best streaming service on Thursday, November 27.

There's a reason why Stranger Things season 5 volume 1, which includes episodes 1 through 4, will launch on different dates. Unlike past seasons, this eight-part installment won't drop at midnight Pacific Time in the US, which means it won't arrive at, say, 3am Eastern Time stateside and 8am UK time.

Instead, Netflix will release season 5 part 1 at 5pm PST / 8pm EST on November 26. In short: that means its first four episodes won't be available to watch in Europe, Africa, Asia, and Oceania until the day after.

But enough waffling. Here are the all-important dates and times you need to know about for the nation in which you reside:

  • US – Wednesday, November 26 at 5pm PST / 8pm EST
  • Canada – Wednesday, November 26 at 5pm PST / 8pm EST
  • UK – Thursday, November 27 at 1am GMT
  • India – Thursday, November 27 at 6:30am IST
  • Singapore – Thursday, November 27 at 9am SGT
  • Australia – Thursday, November 27 at 12pm AEDT
  • New Zealand – Thursday, November 27 at 2pm NZDT

As I reported earlier this year, Stranger Things 5 is getting a staggered release. Indeed, Netflix confirmed three launch dates for Stranger Things season 5 in July, with part 2 set to drop one month after the first volume. For more details on when new episodes will air on Netflix, read the list below:

  • Stranger Things season 5 episode 1 – November 26 / 27
  • Stranger Things season 5 episode 2 – November 26 / 27
  • Stranger Things season 5 episode 3 – November 26 / 27
  • Stranger Things season 5 episode 4 – November 26 / 27
