Oi, listen up: it's almost time to watch the last-ever episode of The Boys.

That's right, the Amazon TV Original's fifth season — and the show itself — will draw to a close with this week's episode. And, while The Boys season 5 has drawn fierce criticism from sections of its fanbase for its plot pacing and myriad other issues, I'm willing to bet that every single one of the satirical superhero series' viewers will be tuning in to see how it ends.

The Boys' story capper will make its Prime Video debut at 12am PT / 3am ET on Wednesday, May 20.

That'll be the case in North and South America, anyway. The rest of the world will be able to catch it on one of the best streaming services on the aforementioned date, but its launch time will vary depending on where you live.

Check out the list below, then, to see when it'll air in your neck of the woods.

  • US — Wednesday, May 20 at 12am PDT / 3am EDT
  • Canada — Wednesday, May 20 at 12am PDT / 3am EDT
  • UK — Wednesday, May 20 at 8am GMT

Can't wait that long? US fans can watch The Boys season 5 finale — in 4DX, no less at certain Regal Theater locations — on Tuesday, May 19.

Head to the Regal Theater's website now to book your spot at an 11:15pm showing. But, move fast! The 9:30pm showings sold out in double-quick time so, if you don't want to wait to see episode 8 on Amazon's streaming platform, you'll want to act now.

Will there be a season 6 of The Boys?

If you've somehow skipped over all of the above: no, The Boys will end after its season 5 finale drops on Prime Video.

That said, the R-rated franchise will continue once its main show ends. Vought Rising, a prequel that'll star Jensen Ackles' Soldier Boy, is set to premiere sometime in 2027.

Meanwhile, franchise overlord Eric Kripke has said other spin-offs are in the works, including a present-day Mexico-set show. A third season of Gen V, which would've been set in a post-The Boys world, though, isn't on the agenda owing to its recent cancellation.
