Our 5 favourite deals from Noel Leeming's annual Massive Sellout sale include deep discounts on Sony, Dyson, LG and more
Enjoy up to 90% off tech and appliances including TVs, home security, laptops and gaming gear

With NZ's mid-year sales firmly in the rearview and Black Friday sales still a good couple of months away, we're sitting in the middle of the quiet season when it comes to big sales events. Luckily, Noel Leeming has decided to make some noise with what its new Massive Sellout sale.
Starting today (24 September), this sale promises a week of discounted prices on big brands before wrapping up on 1 October. But we're not just taking their word for it – we've scoured the entire site and found some truly enticing discounts, which includes up to 90% off tech and accessories from the likes of Sony, HP, SanDisk, LG, Logitech and more.
While it's fun to peruse a big sale, the number of discounts can be overwhelming. We've spotlighted our favourite Noel Leeming offers below to help get you started.

Need a second PlayStation controller for couch co-op, or just tired of sitting close to the TV while you're stuck with your controller plugged-in because you forgot to recharge it? Now's the time to grab an additional gamepad thanks to this massive saving. While this controller originally retailed for around NZ$80, two significant price hikes last year brought its regular price to what you see today. We don't expect it to get much cheaper any time soon, so this deal's a must-have if you're in the market.
Earning four stars in our Ring Indoor Cam (2nd gen) review, we thought it offered fantastic value at its original price point – loving its sturdy, easy-to-install mount and compact design. Importantly, it also provides a privacy cover that allows you to cut the audio and visual feed for those times you don't want recorded. Already affordable at its RRP, it's a great buy at this deeply discounted price, letting you keep an eye on any room in your house.
Don't let its ludicrously long name turn you away. The Belkin Boostcharge Pro Magnetic Powerbank won me over with its versatility, making the opportunity to nab it for only NZ$29 an incredible deal. Working best with the iPhone 11 and newer, thanks to its magnetic nature (though Androids with magnetic cases or Qi2 capabilities are also compatible), it offers a sturdy magnetic connection and speedy wireless charging speeds. iPhones' smaller battery capacities also means this power bank will go further on Apple devices than their Android counterparts; on most iPhones you'll often get at least a full charge from this unit's 5,000mAh capacity.
It might be the oldest Dyson stick vacuum that you can currently buy, but it’s fitted with an upgraded V8 motor and 40-minute runtime that can handle most small to medium homes. Plus, this deal beats the current NZ$200 discount we're seeing direct from Dyson. This model comes with a combination brush and a wide nozzle tool that makes cleaning different areas quick and easy, and we said it's still worth buying at this price in our updated Dyson V8 review. If you need more power and versatility, Noel Leeming is also offering NZ$450 off the more powerful Dyson Gen5detect Absolute – now NZ$1,199.
We haven't gone hands-on with this TV, but if you're looking for a cheap 4K panel then we're not sure it gets much better than this 55-inch LG offering for just NZ$849. In fact, this deal is even better than it first seems, as this TV was priced at NZ$1,349 earlier this month. This is an LED model that offers vibrant colours, HDR10 Pro and optimised picture quality thanks to an Alpha 7 AI processor. Plus, there's no need for an Apple TV 4K or Amazon Fire TV Stick thanks to a built-in Chromecast, Apple AirPlay 2 and ThinQ AI that lets you stream all the best streaming services like Apple TV Plus and Disney Plus.
While these are our favourite deals on offer right now, there are a ton of other Noel Leeming discounts worth considering, such as this pod coffee machine, which retails for NZ$269 and earned five stars in our Nespresso Vertuo Pop review, and is now just NZ$99.
