Apple deals are live for Prime Day – here are 9 devices actually worth buying
Prime Day prices on AirPods, the Apple Watch, iPads and more
Amazon's October Prime Day sale has arrived, which means it's a great time to snag a deal on a highly coveted Apple device.
It's usually rare to see more than 10% off some of Apple's popular devices, particularly the flagships, but some of these Amazon deals go well beyond that. While you won't find the just-released iPhone 15 range below, if you don't necessarily need the latest and greatest in Apple gear, you can score a massive 25% discount on some of last year's bestselling devices.
As a deals editor covering Amazon Prime Day for almost seven years, it's my job to weed out the good offers from the bad. I've gone through all of today's sales to bring you the nine best Prime Day Apple deals that are actually worth buying. The offers listed below include some record-low prices on select Apple devices, including the Apple Watch and the iPhone 14 Pro.
With the sale ending tonight (October 11) at 11:59pm AEDT, there's a high probability that these offers will also end (or even sell out beforehand), so get a wriggle on if you want to upgrade your phone or wearable, or snap up a powerful iPad as you might not see prices like this again until the upcoming Black Friday deals event.
Keep in mind these are also Prime exclusive. If you're not a member, you can sign up now and get a 30-day free trial to shop these offers.

The best Prime Day Apple deals worth buying
Apple AirPods (2nd Generation): was AU$219 now AU$160
The AirPods 2 are Apple's cheapest earbuds, and Amazon currently has them on sale for just AU$160. That's just a dollar more than the record-low of AU$159 and fantastic value for a pair of Apple's premium 'buds. This Prime Day deal is highly recommended if you want new AirPods and don't need the Pro model's noise-cancelling technology.
Apple AirPods Pro 2: was AU$399 now AU$350
Always a bestseller during Prime Day, Amazon has the highly coveted AirPods Pro 2 at a small discount of 12%. These were AU$319 back in 2022, but they've not seen a significant price drop this year. So if AU$350 for the version that uses a Lightning cable to charge sounds good, you can save AU$49 and get noise cancellation tech, improved audio and wireless charging.
Apple iPhone 14 Pro (1TB): was AU$2,599 now AU$1,949
AU$650 off the 1TB version of the iPhone 14 Pro makes this the lowest price yet on last year's flagship. This is a rare opportunity that is definitely worth jumping on if you've been eyeing this model. Admittedly not everyone needs 1TB of storage, but the value here is undeniable – it's now cheaper than the 512GB model on Amazon! All colours are discounted too.
Apple iPhone 14 Plus (Midnight, 512GB): was AU$2,099 now AU$1,739
Apple's big-screen, non-Pro iPhone 14 Plus also gets the discount treatment, albeit not quite as impressively, topping out at 17% for the Midnight colourway and only in the 512GB storage option. There are other colours getting a discount too, but they're just in single digits.
Apple iPhone 13 (512GB): was AU$1,749 now AU$1,311
It might be two years since it was released, but the standard iPhone 13 is still a good option for an upgrade if you're holding to an older phone. The Midnight and Blue colourways in the 512GB storage option get 25% off this Prime Big Deal Days, dropping the price by over AU$430 for today only.
Apple Watch 7 (41mm, GPS + Cellular): was AU$900.90 now AU$699
With the Watch 9 out, Apple no longer lists the Watch 7 on its website to purchase, although it does offer refurbished ones. If you don't want a refurb, then you can save a decent amount on a brand-new Apple Watch 7 on Amazon – though note only the Gold Stainless Steel case in 41mm size with the Dark Cherry sports band is discounted. It is, however, the LTE version of the watch, so you can use it without your paired iPhone.
Apple Watch 8 (45mm; GPS + Cellular): was AU$1,179 now AU$949
As with the Apple Watch 7 above, only one model of the Apple Watch 8 gets a good-enough discount that's worth considering – the Silver Stainless Steel body in 45mm size with the white sports band. The good news is that this 20% discount is on the LTE version as well, so you can leave your iPhone behind and still take calls, listen to music, make payments and more.
Apple Watch Ultra: was AU$1,299 now AU$1,039
Available in a few colourways for the same discount of 20% and a price of AU$1,039, the Apple Watch Ultra is perfect for anyone fitness-oriented person, particularly if you spend more time outdoors than in the gym. Better GPS precision, better battery, better screen... just better than any Watch that came before it. This is one of the best offers we've seen on the Ultra, mostly likely because the Ultra 2 is now on shelves.
Apple iPad Pro (2021, 3rd gen | Wi-Fi, 1TB): was AU$2,249 now AU$1,911
While the better discount is on the 2TB Wi-Fi + Cellular model of this 11-inch Apple slate (23% off, down to AU$2,379 from AU$3,099), that much storage on a tablet may be overkill for most people, unless you're planning on using your iPad as a laptop. So my recommendation would be the 1TB, Wi-Fi only model that gets a 15% discount, bringing the price below the two-grand mark.
