We know what you're thinking – "Since when does Vodafone have broadband deals?" Well, the popular provider entered the broadband space around seven years ago. Since then, it has also become one of the UK's most popular internet service providers

Today, Vodafone specialises in providing a range of cheap fibre and Full Fibre broadband deals. Vodafone broadband deals seem to be some of the best around and the company regularly undercuts the prices offered by the likes of Sky and BT. Added to this, the company offers a good range of speeds, including two market-leading FTTC fibre broadband deals as well as a range of rapid FTTP packages.

Today's best Vodafone broadband deals

Vodafone offers a great selection of broadband deals that suit different budgets and requirements. However, the company's most popular is its Full Fibre 2 option, which provides average download speeds of 73Mbps. This currently costs £24 per month when you sign up for a 24-month contract. This means it's one of the cheapest deals on the market for these upgraded speeds.

On top of this, the company also offers two FTTC options that are available in areas that can't access Full Fibre speeds, as well as a selection of very quick FTTP packages,  including deals that offer download speeds of 100Mbps, 200Mbps, 500Mbps and 910Mbps.

At present, Vodafone offers the following packages on its website:

Vodafone Fibre 1 | 38Mbps | £24 per month for 24 months

Fibre 1 is Vodafone's entry-level fibre package. Despite it being the company's most basic, it still provides average download speeds of 38Mbps. So, if you're looking for a broadband plan that's affordable yet quick, this could be a great option. However, Fibre 1 isn't available in Full Fibre areas, so you'll need to check your eligibility with the provider before you sign up.

Vodafone Fibre 2 | 67Mbps | £24 per month for 24 months

If you're looking for something faster, try Vodafone's Fibre 2 package. Again, this option isn't available in Full Fibre areas, but it provides a quick and reliable connection for properties that cannot access full fibre speeds. If you live in a property where multiple people are online simultaneously and you need the internet for work, then the 74Mbps average download speeds are perfect. Plus, at the moment, Fibre 2 costs the same as Fibre 1, so these quicker speeds are effectively free!

Vodafone's Xtra and Pro II Packages

Added to this, it's also well worth mentioning that Vodafone also offers a range of Xtra Broadband and Pro II packages, which are available with the tariffs we've mentioned above.

While the Xtra packages provide extras such as Apple TV 4K and unlimited anytime calls to UK landlines and mobiles, the PRO II packages provide an upgraded hub, a Super WiFi 6E booster, automatic 4G broadband back-up and dedicated help from experts.

In addition, it's also well worth logging into your account if you're a Vodafone mobile customer. This is because the company offers a range of discounts for current customers, so your package could be even cheaper than you first thought.

Vodafone broadband deals: add-ons

Can I add call plans to Vodafone broadband?

Vodafone has a reputation for chopping and changing its offerings almost constantly.

However, you can currently add the company's Xtra Package to your plan. This costs an extra £14 per month, but it provides you with unlimited anytime calls to UK landlines and mobiles, as well as Apple TV 4K and 24 months of Apple TV+.

Does Vodafone do any broadband and TV deals?

Technically, yes - Vodafone does have a broadband and TV deal. However, you're essentially just adding Apple TV 4K onto your broadband package.

When you take out an Xtra Package, you receive Apple TV 4K plus a 24-month Apple TV+ subscription. This costs you an extra £14 per month.

What kind of speeds do I need?

Vodafone's speeds range from 38Mbps all the way up to a whopping 900Mb+ depending on where you live. Of course, not everyone is going to need the same speeds:

38Mbps:
This is Vodafone's lowest speed, but it's also one that will suit a lot of people. It will allow for HD streaming, some light gaming and general working from home.

However, as soon as you start trying to connect lots of smart devices, you will see this plan start to struggle.

67-73Mbps:
These are the speeds you'll receive on average with Vodafone's Fibre 2 or Full Fibre 2 plan. It is plenty for most households and offers the ability to stream in HD on multiple devices while smart devices are connected.

In essence, it's enough for most households but may see the occasional bit of lag or issue with more intensive tasks.

74-910Mbps:
We're going to lump all of Vodafone's other speeds into one here because for most people, you're not going to need them. These are for the people running businesses from home, gaming a lot, or households with a lot of people in them.

These packages are only available in certain areas and will provide you with massive speeds. Anything in excess of 100Mbps will allow for speedy downloads and high performance even with a host of devices running.

How long will my Vodafone broadband contract last?

Vodafone used to be one of the most flexible internet service providers on the market. However, the company recently changed all of its plans and it now only offers 24-month contracts.

Of course, this is a very long time to be committed to the provider. However, the benefit is that Vodafone's plans are some of the cheapest on the market. If you simply don't want to make such a commitment, it's worth looking at TalkTalk. They rival Vodafone in terms of price but offer shorter contract lengths.

Is the upgrade to Vodafone's Pro II package worth it?

It will be for some, but not for everyone. Vodafone's Pro II package does up the price quite considerably. So, for those trying to stay on a budget, it is best to avoid it.

However, if you're looking for a better-performing broadband plan, the upgrade may be worth your time. This is because you'll get Wi-Fi boosters that will give you better access in all rooms. Plus, if your internet goes down, the hub will automatically switch to 4G internet and you will even get access to dedicated WiFi experts.

If you upgrade further to the Xtra Package, you'll also get Apple TV 4K thrown in, as well as unlimited anytime calls to UK landlines and mobiles.
