Max Dowman's emergence has been a huge positive for Arsenal, although the outsized contribution of a 16-year-old serves to highlight the team's attacking poverty. There are few players in Europe more singularly destructive than Eberechi Eze, who incidentally also has an excellent record against Man City, but he's been peripheral in red. A flurry of high-profile errors from Ben White, meanwhile, have undermined Arsenal's previously rock-solid backline.
However, Arteta has opted to shuffle Eze in and White out for today's clash. He's also dropped Viktor Gyokeres in favor of Kai Havertz.
