This affordable Shark cordless vacuum is always a bestseller – and now it's dropped to a record-low price of just AU$229
Clean up with 43% off the Shark IZ102, making it one of the best Prime Day deals this October

Every vacuum cleaner maker is trying to outdo its competition, but Shark still knows there's value in budget models. Case in point, its IZ102 Cordless Vacuum with Self-Cleaning Brushroll. It's a basic model but its price point makes it a hot seller.
That price point is also why it was part of our best cordless vacuum cleaner guide for a long time, despite us not having tested it ourselves – something has to be said about the 4.4-star rating on Amazon from hundreds of users.
Offering even better bang for your buck now, the Shark IZ102 is currently at an all-time low price on Amazon – just AU$229 – thanks to a mighty 43% discount compared to paying AU$399 from Shark. While it's often discounted to around the AU$300 price point, this is the cheapest we have seen it on Amazon – the previous low was AU$232 in the post Boxing Day sales last year.
This is Amazon's second Prime Day sale in Australia and Black Friday deals are on the horizon, but this has the potential to be one of the best deals you'll see for the IZ102 in 2025. But please note that this offer is for Prime members only.

We haven't been lucky enough to get our hands on this vacuum, but the value it provides is way too good to ignore – making it an easy choice for those shopping on a budget. It offers a satisfactory 40-minute runtime, but what elevates this budget beast to something that's worth buying over more expensive competitors is its dust-revealing LED lights, versatile attachments and hair-sucking, self-cleaning brush roll.
While we don't have a review of the Shark IZ102, it's not much more than our pick for the best budget stick vacuum, the Dreame U20 (which is currently discounted by 50%, down to AU$199 only).
At 3.4kg, the IZ102 isn't the most lightweight stick vacuum, and some users have mentioned that it's on the heavier side. However, it's far from the heaviest, with the weightiest of the best stick vacuums coming in at 9.7kg, and various models sitting between 3.5 and 4kg. So there'll be no need to get a new gym membership to handle your new stick vacuum.
And, for those areas that the Shark IZ102 struggles to clean, there are handheld and crevice tools that make cleaning the car and getting in those tricky corners easy. It also has a removable battery, so you can have one charging while using another – though additional batteries are sold separately.
If you don't mind spending a little more, need wet-dry functionality or an auto-emptying system – there are plenty of other vacuum deals right now, with a few more of our favourite stick vacuums seeing massive discounts listed below.
Now 50% off, the Dreame U20 cordless vacuum is a bargain. Especially since it's our budget recommendation in our best cordless vacuum cleaners guide and we rate it 4-stars in our Dreame U20 review. With a 100,000 RPM high-speed motor, LED blue-light optical tech and up to 60 minutes of runtime, this vacuum handles hardwood floors easily. Pet owners will love the U20’s tangle-free V-shaped brush that specialises in pulling up hair.
Does your house have hard floors and carpet? We said this cleaner "excels as a vacuum-mop, handling both wet and dry spills with aplomb" in our 4-star Tineco Floor One Switch S6 review. It delivers powerful, intelligent suction and excellent mopping – and both simultaneously – to leave your hard floors clean and streak-free. Plus, its thorough self-clean cycle ensures the foam roller head is ready to go for next time.
Scoring almost five stars in our Shark Detect Pro Cordless vacuum cleaner review, we called this vacuum "a wonder". Versatile, powerful, offering automatic power adjustment and equally good at cleaning hard floors as it is on carpet, this is one of the best vacuums on the market, at a stellar price. And this discount means its just a dollar more than the standalone vacuum, so there's good value in grabbing the Auto-Empty System variant.
Heads up: several offers above are for Prime members only. Not a member? Start a 30-day free trial now that covers the sale and more. You can cancel any time.
