We loved JBL's Charge 6 in our just-published review, and right now you can score 20% off this 5-star portable speaker
Power, stamina and a big, detailed sound – the Charge 6 is nigh-on perfect

The Bluetooth speaker market is perhaps one of the most flooded, offering models for all budgets, with varying levels of sound quality and a wide range of features. Finding the best Bluetooth speaker for your needs isn’t as easy as one might think.
The JBL Charge 6 wants to prove that last statement wrong, and if our recently published five-star review is anything to go by – and it is – there’s very little it can’t do, and everything it does do, it does so incredibly well. The best part is that it can now be picked up with a 20% discount at Amazon, in a variety of colours.
The Charge 6 is the latest in a successful series of powerful, portable speakers that have a nifty trick up their sleeve. Not only can the Charge 6 last up to 28 hours on a single charge, but it can also be used as a power bank to charge your devices via its USB-C port. Sound quality is energetic and detailed in equal measure, and it’s built to withstand virtually anything you wish to throw at it.
JBL and popular Bluetooth speakers are practically synonymous with one another. The company has churned out top-performing portables one after the other, and the Charge 6 is no different.
As we said in our JBL Charge 6 review, “Its sound is big and weighty, and there’s plenty of drive and momentum to ensure the rhythm is expressed with real positivity”. We also loved the fact it supports high-resolution audio up to 24-bit/96kHz via the same USB-C port that can be used to charge devices. It gives the speaker’s resume some extra clout amongst its peers.
There wasn’t an awful lot JBL could do to improve upon the previous Charge 5, but it managed it anyway. The IP rating has improved from IP67 to IP68, making it “virtually impregnable” according to our tester. It also gets an incredibly useful control app that can be used to stereo pair two Charge 6 speakers or adjust the EQ settings. The Charge 6 is also Auracast-enabled, allowing it to pair with an endless number of other Auracast devices.
Now, we haven’t forgotten the elephant in the room that is Prime Big Deal Days arriving next week, meaning the deal price here on the JBL Charge 6 could drop further. It’s no guarantee of course, so if you’re in the market for a Bluetooth speaker that is practically faultless, we’d jump on this one right away.
