Summer may be over, but it's a great time to consider picking up a Bluetooth speaker. Best Buy has a number of excellent price cuts on JBL portable speakers this week, including some of our favorite models here at TechRadar.

For example, you can pick up the fantastic JBL Go 5 for $39.95 (was $54), the JBL Grip for $69.95 (was $99.95), and the JBL Flip 7 for $119.95 (was $149.95). All three of these are highly reviewed models that we think are perfect for outdoor occasions, dorm rooms, or spontaneous get-togethers.

Looking for something lightweight? The JBL Go 5 is perfect for that. Today's deal at Best Buy is a record-low price, and this small-but-mighty speaker is seriously capable despite its diminutive footprint. Not only does it feature impressive sound for its size, but it also has 15 hours of battery life and an extremely durable design.

For something a little bigger, consider the Grip and Flip 7. The Grip is the smaller and lighter of the two, being a mid-range option, but the Flip 7 features USB-C passthrough, which is very handy for maximising sound quality. Both are great for the price, however, so you can't go wrong with either.

Finally, if you're looking to really pump out some sound, then consider the JBL PartyBox Encore Essential 2 for $249.95 (was $329). This is a much larger portable speaker, but it's a very capable one indeed, with 100W of power output and 15 hours of battery life.

JBL portable speaker deals at Best Buy

JBL Go 5
JBL Go 5: was $54.95 now $39.95

JBL's latest small speaker was released in summer 2026 and instantly became our new favorite cheap option. It comes in loads of colors, and is pretty much perfectly designed. The Go 5 is a small, tough, waterproof Bluetooth speaker. In our full JBL Go 5 review, we gave it five stars for simply being as good as Bluetooth speakers get when they're this small.

JBL Grip
JBL Grip : was $99.95 now $69.95

The JBL Grip is the next size-up from the Go 5 — and, as the price would suggest, it's more of a mid-range entry in the lineup, too. The main features here are a robust build, IP68 water resistance, and a respectable 14 hours of battery life. We're also a big fan of this device's customizable LED lights, as attested to in our review. If you want something a little bigger than the Go 5 but still need something relatively lightweight, this is a good choice.

JBL Flip 7
JBL Flip 7: was $149.95 now $119.95

The JBL Flip 7 is one of our favorite portable Bluetooth speakers, scoring a perfect five out of five in our review. It's a device that really manages to pump out surprisingly decent audio, despite still being relatively small. It's a little bigger than the Grip, but it's more feature-laden, including not just IP68 water resistance, but also featuring USB-C passthrough for better audio quality.

JBL PartyBox Encore Essential 2
JBL PartyBox Encore Essential 2 : was $329.95 now $249.95

The PartyBox Encore is one JBL product we haven't tested here at TechRadar, but it looks like a strong candidate if you're looking for the ultimate speaker for parties or outdoor gatherings. This model features an impressive 100W of output power, IPX4 splash-proof rating, and 12 hours of battery life. According to customer reviews, this one is also impressively portable, despite being a little bigger than JBL's smaller options.
