Amazon has slashed up to 37% off top-rated fans from the likes of Dyson, Shark, and Dreo — in time for the heatwave this weekend
Here are my top recommendations, as a home appliances expert
This is not a drill: we're heading for our first mini-heatwave of the year. Yes, the UK weather gods have bestowed upon us a hot bank holiday weekend. And while the prospect of some sunshine is welcome for many of us, it's good to have a plan in place if things get a little too balmy. A number of big retailers have cottoned on to this, because since the forecast first came in, fan deals have started popping up everywhere.
There are dozens of discounts available, so to help you find the right one for you, I've rounded up the best options below. I spent two years managing TechRadar's best fans guide, so I have a good idea what to look for. I'm pleased to report that a number of our very favorite fan brands are included — Shark, Levoit, and Dreo rarely fail to impress us on test, and you'll also find highly rated options from the likes of Dyson and Duux.

One major standout is the original Shark FlexBreeze, with 25% off. It transforms from desktop to pedestal, can be used indoors and out, and corded or cordless (we called it "fantastic" and praised it for being "incredibly versatile" in our review). It has spawned several spin-off models since its launch, and the TableMate (dedicated tabletop fan), HydroGo (portable, with a mister), and Pro Mist (pedestal, with removable misting tank) versions are all on sale too.
Another standout brand is Dreo — its air circulator fans (like the PolyFan 353, with 15% off) are designed to shift large volumes of air around a room, and can be extremely effective when placed next to a cool air source.
Read on for more of my top fan deals to keep you cool (when you need it) in the hot weather. I've separated my selections into pedestal fans, desktop fans, and tower fans, to make this guide easier to browse.
