Have you left Christmas shopping incredibly last-minute? Or have you realised you can afford to treat yourself at this time of year? Right now, our pick of the best health and fitness devices is at a record-low price. You can buy the Oura Ring 4 at Amazon for £249 (was £349), which is a return to its all-time low from Black Friday.

A “top-tier smart ring”, it’s ideal if you don’t like wearing wrist watches, but you still want to track all your fitness goals effectively. It’s nearly perfect and is able to monitor your heart rate and sleep patterns, and also offers activity tracking.

It’s rarely seen a price drop, so the Black Friday discount was a surprise to see. It’s good to see it back just in time for Christmas, with Prime members able to order it in time for the big day, at the time of writing.

Today’s best smart ring deal

Oura Ring 4: was £349 now £249 at Amazon

Sleek and comfortable, the Oura Ring 4 is fully titanium, so it’s built to last and is highly durable. You get incredibly accurate data and personalised health insights, from sleep to how active you are throughout the day. A readiness score always gives you a heads up on what to expect from your body, too. The excellent smart ring is now down to its lowest-ever price.

The Oura Ring 4 is one of the best smart rings around, with our full Oura Ring 4 review awarding it 4.5 stars. It provides “accurate, clear health metrics” and “impressive sleep monitoring,” as well as “excellent mindfulness sessions.”

It has excellent battery life of about five and a half days, in our experience, while automatic workout tracking is responsive. Its app is a delight to use, too, and I’m a big fan of how much it focuses on heart health, highlighting your cardiovascular age and your cardio capacity – all key indicators of how healthy you truly are.

Our only significant criticism was its price tag, which is where a discount makes it much more appealing. Its features are a big highlight, and a smart ring like this could feel much more comfortable for you than one of the best smartwatches.
