Yesterday’s Apple Event featured a plethora of new product announcements, including a brand new version of the manufacturer's popular smartwatch. If the new tech has got you keen to upgrade, you can buy the Apple Watch Series 11 at Best Buy from $219 when you trade in your Apple Watch Series 10.

My Best Buy Plus and My Best Buy Total members also get an extra 10% off to sweeten the deal further. The smartwatch normally starts at $399, so with both of those offers combined, it's a hefty discount.

The Apple Watch Series 11 is the thinnest and toughest yet, with Ion-X glass and a ceramic coating. It boasts new features, such as hypertension notifications and a Sleep Score, an improved battery of up to 24 hours, and stronger 5G connectivity for those seeking the cellular version.

The watch also takes an ECG anytime you want, while there are notifications for high and low heart rates, along with new hypertension notifications when chronic high blood pressure is detected.

As an avid Apple Watch fan who also hates having to charge it so often, it’s the improved battery life that will set the Apple Watch Series 11 apart from its predecessors. There’s up to 24 hours of normal use with fast charge, meaning you get back up to eight hours with a mere 15-minute charge.

The Apple Watch Series 11 also includes hypertension notifications and a Sleep Score function, which is a lot more like what Garmin and Fitbit devices offer. It seems incredibly likely we’ll see the new model take a high place among the best Apple Watches once we get our hands on it.

For now, our look at the differences between the Apple Watch Series 11 and the Apple Watch Series 10 offers more insights if you're considering an upgrade. Those looking for increased performance will be a little disappointed to see the same processor is used in both watches, but the improved design and battery life are sure to be a winner for anyone seeking the best smartwatch.

If the latest tech isn’t vital for you, there are other Apple Watch deals which may be cheaper. For something more Android-friendly, don’t overlook the Garmin deals – they’re particularly great for more active users like runners or hikers.
