I've looked through hundreds of gaming laptop deals today — these 4 are the only ones that buck the RAM crisis
It's getting increasingly difficult, but there are good options
Spiralling RAM prices haven't just hit those who build their own PCs — they've also majorly hit gaming laptop prices in recent months. There are still a few bargains to be had, however, if you're keeping an eye out.
In the process of updating my monthly gaming laptop deals roundup, I've found a few listings that are actually worth sharing — and worth the cash.
First up is this Asus TUF F16 at Best Buy for $1,299 (was $1649), which features 32GB of RAM, a decent Core i7 chipset, and an RTX 5060 graphics card. I've seen quite a few sub $1,000 RTX 5060 machines recently, but they all tend to cheap out on the other components. By comparison, you're getting a laptop that's gameworthy right out the box here — albeit one that's a little pricier than some.
For a meaningful upgrade, I'd also highlight this Acer Nitro V17 for $1,499 at Amazon as a great option. There's no outright price cut, but this listing is a rare diamond in the rough at a retailer that's usually flooded with subpar listings. An RTX 5070, 32GB of RAM, and Ryzen 7 chipset mean it's a decent value today. It is a larger 17-inch model, though, which may be a drawback if you value portability.

4 excellent gaming laptop deals today
Graphics card: RTX 5060
Processor: Intel Core i7
RAM: 32GB
Storage: 1TB
A $350 discount makes this Asus F16 a much more compelling buy at Best Buy today. Sure, $1,300 is still a little on the pricey end for an RTX 5060 gaming laptop, but the combination of a decent Core i7 chipset and 32GB of RAM means no corners are being cut here. In short, this is a very sensible buy for those who want a nice level of performance without completely breaking the bank.
Graphics card: RTX 5060
Processor: Intel Core 7
RAM: 32GB
Storage: 1TB
You pay a little extra for a premium brand like Alienware, but this 16-inch Aurora is actually a decent value. Again, you're getting 32GB of RAM right out the box, a spacious 1TB SSD, and a good Core 7 chipset to accompany your RTX 5060. Still, a little on the pricey end for an RTX 5060 gaming laptop, but potentially worth it if you want a higher-end brand.
Graphics card: RTX 5070
Processor: Ryzen 7
RAM: 32GB
Storage: 1TB
There's no outright discount on this Acer Nitro V at Amazon, but there's no doubt it's one of the better value options out there right now. Not only do you get 32GB of RAM, but you're also getting a really good price on a machine with an RTX 5070 graphics card. Bear in mind, however, it's a 17-inch model, so not the best if you want something super-portable.
Graphics card: RTX 5070 Ti
Processor: AMD Ryzen 9
RAM: 32GB
Storage: 1TB
We've always loved the Asus G14 for its compelling mix of portability, a high-end design, and excellent components for the money. This deal at Best Buy knocks a decent chunk off the latest model with an RTX 5070 Ti configuration. Still pricey, yes, but you're getting a good deal here for a high-end laptop that should last a few good years down the line.
