EU to cut cost of SMS, mobile data roaming?

Telecoms commissioner Reding is people's champion again

The European Union (EU) looks set to legislate against mobile phone charges again - this time over text messaging and mobile data.

Telecoms commissioner Viviane Reding is concerned at the level and range of charges levied by mobile phone operators for those us to regularly text or send mobile data abroad.

Reding is obviously hoping to repeat her victorious campaign against mobile roaming charges, Physorg reports.
