Toshiba has announced its super-slim 10.1-inch AT200 tablet will be hitting selves in the UK from the middle of February.
The AT200 will be available exclusively from the Carphone Warehouse priced at £399 for the 16GB version and £449 for the 32GB tab.
First spotted back at IFA 2011 under the name Excite, we were impressed with its slim form and surprisingly good looks.
Not just a pretty face
The Toshiba AT200 is the thinnest 10.1-inch tablet in the world clocking in at a mere 7.7mm in depth. To put this into context - that's thinner than a Samsung Galaxy S2.
However its skinny frame is not the only plus point for the AT200, as it offers a dual core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 5MP rear camera and a 10.1-inch 1280x800 LED display.
There is also a front-facing 2MP snapper, micro SD, HDMI and USB slots, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.
The Toshiba AT200 UK release date is 15 February. Unfortunately the AT200 will run Honeycomb 3.2, not the latest version of Android Ice Cream Sandwich.
This is disappointing as we were told at CES 2012 it would ship with Android 4.0.
With a competitive price, decent specs and stylish design the Toshiba AT200 has certainly set itself up to challenge the likes of the iPad 2 and Galaxy Tab 10.1.
We hope to bring you our full AT200 tablet review in the coming weeks.
