With the recent announcement of the Prime Big Deal Days sale in October, Amazon has already begun discounting some of its own best-selling devices. That includes the Amazon Fire HD 10, which is now on sale for $89.99 (was $139.99).
This $50 discount isn't the biggest price drop we've seen on this affordable tablet, but it is the cheapest it's been this year and one of the lowest prices for non-Prime members outside of Black Friday.
Here at TechRadar, we love spotting the best tablet deals. Sometimes those deals are for premium models that are discounted by hundreds of dollars. At other times, it's money-off products that are already friendly on the wallet. So, if you're looking for one of the best cheap tablets around that's ideal for casual streaming, light gaming, or web browsing, it looks like your search could be over.
Today’s best Amazon Fire tablet deal
Amazon's budget tablet offers a large 10.1-inch full HD screen, a 13-hour battery life, a 5MP front-facing camera, and some genuinely useful AI-based tools for simplifying life. This is a tablet that's well-suited to most users who want an everyday device at a reasonable price. And now, with $50 off ahead of Prime Big Deal Days, you're not paying very much for the benefits either.
Our Amazon Fire HD 10 review covers all the bases, should you be interested in finding out what we thought of the tablet when we had our hands on it. Just don't let the rating put you off because our main issue was with the high retail price. Now discounted, that's no longer an issue.
That's not to say that there are no limitations with this tablet, but at well under $100, you can stomach almost all of them. More positively, we found the tablet to be dependable and perfect for Alexa integration. It’s also lightweight and surprisingly durable, so it can handle the rough-and-tumble life that may happen when your kids grab it.
We've got a range of other tablet deals for you to enjoy at the moment, especially if you'd like something with more power. If you'd like to explore Apple alternatives, then you'll want our dedicated iPad deals page instead.
