Black Friday proper has arrived, and I’ve already found my pick for the best Black Friday phone deal of the day so far. Let's cut to the chase: you can now get the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 with 512GB of storage for $1,399.99 (was $2,119.99) at Samsung, a saving of $720.

This is the type of Black Friday deal that really makes my head spin – the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 normally comes in at a whopping $1,999.99 for the model with 256GB of storage, so seeing it at just $1,399.99 with an included storage upgrade is really something. Sure, it’s still mighty expensive, but it’s also the best folding phone on the market and a real powerhouse when it comes to both hardware and software.

Samsung has claimed the title of best Black Friday phone deal (so far) with this ridiculous discount on the Galaxy Z Fold 7 folding phone. Right now you can save $720 on the total price of the model with 512GB of storage, bringing the price down to $1,399.99. Sure, that's still pretty darn expensive, but for a phone this powerful it's genuinely a great deal, and gets you a svelte folding phone with excellent displays and a class-leading camera system.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is the best folding phone, and also pops up on our lists of the best Android phones and best gaming phones. It also scored four and a half stars in our full Galaxy Z Fold 7 review, which is as high as any phone has scored in 2025 (save for the five-star OnePlus 15).
All of that praise comes down to the phone’s excellent design and powerful performance. It’s the thinnest folding phone Samsung has ever made, at just 4.2mm when unfolded. That, plus a wide 20:9 cover display and a weight of just 215g, makes the Galaxy Z Fold 7 feel pretty similar to a regular smartphone when folded up, and impressively svelte when unfolded.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 boasts two excellent displays, with a 6.5-inch cover display and an 8-inch folding inner display. Both offer a sharp, bright, and vibrant viewing experience, with the inner display offering an almost-square mini-tablet form factor.
Under the hood, the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset offers a specially tuned version of the best Android chipset, while 16GB of RAM gives you plenty of memory for productive multitasking, gaming, or making the most of the various Google Gemini and Galaxy AI tools. The 4,400mAh battery isn’t the largest cell, but it still offers enough charge to get through a full working day, and the aforementioned 512GB of storage gives you plenty of space for apps, games, photos, and videos.
That’s a good thing, too, because the Galaxy Z Fold 7 has the best camera system on any folding phone, with an ultra-high-resolution 200MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x relative zoom. It’s an accomplished, flagship-grade camera system that, for perhaps the first time on a folding phone, doesn’t feel like a compromise.
Honestly, $1,399.99 is a pretty fabulous price for such a powerful phone, even if it is quite a bit more than most of the best phones on the market. Having used folding phones myself quite extensively, I can vouch that the form factor really does change the way you use your device, and there’s no better way to experience it than with the Galaxy Z Fold 7.

Samsung Galaxy S25: was $800 now $350, plus one year of unlimited data for $15/mo at Mint Mobile
Here's another incredible deal from Mint Mobile. The carrier is also offering a massive $450 price cut on all three of the latest Galaxy S25 series devices alongside a full year of super-cheap unlimited data. While the discounts here aren't quite as good as those on the Pixel 10 series at the carrier this week, these are still easily record-low prices on the devices at Mint. All-in-all, an amazing Black Friday deal!

Apple iPhone 17 Pro: free with a new unlimited line, plus free iPad and Apple Watch at T-Mobile
T-Mobile's biggest and best deal on the iPhone 17 Pro gets you the device - plus a free iPad and Apple Watch - on a new Experience Beyond plan this Black Friday week. This kind of deal is pretty rare for T-Mobile, so it's a definitely a Black Friday highlight if you're eying up an upgrade. Overall, a strong deal, although the usual caveats apply here: the Experience Beyond plan is the pricier option at T-Mobile, and you also need to take out cellular lines on those accessories to claim them.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra: free with a new unlimited line, plus free tablet and smartwatch at Verizon
Here's Verizon's best Black Friday deal on an Android device, in my opinion. The outstanding Galaxy S25 Ultra is available under the same terms as the iPhone 17 Pro Max today, meaning a free device, Samsung tablet, and Galaxy Watch alongside a new unlimited line. These are all things that we've seen offered before at Verizon, but previously, you needed the highest-end Ultimate plan to be eligible. Today, you can get these on the mid-tier Plus plan, which is just outstanding value in my opinion.
