Argos is getting ahead of Amazon Prime Day later this month by launching its own big summer sale now, offering savings of up to 50% on tech, appliances, toys, furniture, DIY, and more. There are 1000s of products included, so I've summarised the biggest categories and rounded up 12 of the best deals below.

While it's not a huge sale for tech, there are several good offers, including discounts of up to 30% on appliances from Ninja, Dyson, and Vax.

Also, with the World Cup now underway, TVs are available from as little as £119. Displays from Hisense, LG, and Samsung are all featured, with options to get an extra 20% off some TVs, upgrade to larger sizes for the same price, claim cashback, earn 10x Nectar points, and get free delivery.

The retailer is also offering 50% off Argos Plus for the duration of the sale — that means you only pay £20 to get unlimited same day, next day and standard delivery on eligible items for a year. A good thing to pick up if you shop at Argos regularly and want to save on any potential delivery fees.
