PSA: Amazon's early Prime Day deals are great for everyday essentials — I'm saving $32 on my weekly shopping today
Prime Day isn't just about tech — it's also great for essentials
When someone mentions Amazon Prime Day, you may automatically think of price cuts on the latest TVs, laptops, devices, and other tech. That's what we usually cover here at TechRadar - but Prime Day isn't just about those big, exciting purchases.
In fact, if I think about my own shopping over the past few years as TechRadar's retail editor, my purchases are usually about the everyday essentials. Increasingly, I've used the sale to stock up my kitchen or bathroom cabinet rather than lining up for that big price tag purchase.
Right now, I'm making full use of Amazon's early Prime Day deals to save some cash on essentials. You can check out what's in my cart right now - including allergy tablets, dental strips, and dish soap. OK, so my selection won't set the world on fire here, but I'm saving around $32 on my total shop here by making use of Amazon's sale this week.
Note that Amazon's big sale is set to start next Tuesday (23rd June), but there are already tons of great early preview deals to consider. Just below my picks, you can see a quick overview, including Amazon devices, Apple deals, and more.
