Philips Hue is the biggest name in smart lights, and for good reason. Not only are its lights themselves well-made, they're also available in a huge choice of shapes and styles, are easy to use, and are super versatile. The only sticking point is that they can be pretty expensive — but not right now! Amazon is holding a huge spring sale this week, and has knocked up to 34% off all kinds of Hue bulbs, light strips, and starter kits.
Personally, I'm a huge fan of the Philips Hue Essential series, which is a collection of bulbs and LED strips that are cheaper than standard Hue lights, with only slightly lower specs. They're fantastic value, and with these offers at Amazon, I'm going to take the opportunity to stock up.
If you're new to Hue, this is the perfect time to grab a cheap Philips Hue Starter Kit. Each of these includes a pack of smart bulbs and a Philips Hue Bridge hub to connect them together — sometimes with a smart switch or button thrown in as well. They're the perfect way to start your smart lighting journey.
