I can't run my D&D games without this list of gadgets, books and other essentials — and as luck would have it, they're all on sale at Amazon right now

I've been playing and running Dungeons & Dragons games for 12 years now. I started off as a DM, and while I've been a player plenty of times, crafting the sessions has always been my first love. However, the way I play the game has changed a lot since then, as has the tools I use. As luck would have it, all these tools are on sale right now as part of Amazon's Spring Deal Days sales event — great news for any aspirant or experienced GM.

For one thing, a few years ago I started using a tablet with split-screen capabilities, such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab A11, with one side loaded with a doc of session notes, and the other with Samsung Notes open to track HP and jot down stuff. In-depth recording for taking detailed session notes for campaign planning I leave to Plaud Note, the AI transcription mic stuck to the back of my phone.
