My two favorite Kindle devices are the Kindle Colorsoft and the Kindle Scribe, and I'm pleased to report the best discounts you'll find on Kindle e-readers right now are price drops on those two devices.

You can get the Kindle Scribe for $309.99 / £309.99 in the UK, which is an all-time low price for a writing tablet that I scored a 4.5/5 in my review for its versatility, excellent design, and great handwriting recognition. The Kindle Colorsoft - Amazon's first full-color Kindle - is also sitting at an all-time low price of $169.99 / or only £164 in the UK, making it a more affordable way to see your e-books in color, at last. As I said in my review, once you go for a color Kindle, you'll never look back and grey and white.

I've been waiting for great Black Friday deals on Kindle e-readers, and these all-time low price drops are just what I was hoping to see. There are new Kindle Scribe devices about to hit retail shelves, including a Kindle Scribe Colorsoft with a color display. Don't wait for those tablets. They will be much, much more expensive than today's Kindle lineup, and they won't see a discount for months to come.
