With the Apple AirPods Pro 3 so hot off the conveyor belt, we've not yet had time to consider their inclusion in our guide to the best AirPods. At 4.5 stars, it's hard to imagine them not replacing the AirPods Pro 2 as "the AirPods I recommend you buy."

First up is the incredible active noise cancelation. Our reviewer, Becky Scarrott, called it a "wall of silence". I love that! That means that every time you put them into your ears, everything in the background fades into silence.

Then there's the comfy and secure fit. This has been vastly improved over the previous iteration, with the neck angle tweaked quite significantly. Becky tested the fit by shaking her head and found that they didn't budge at all. Oh, and they now monitor your heart rate, too. Great work, Apple.
