Afterpay Day is back for its second stint in 2025 and we're tracking down all the best deals live

The second Afterpay Day of 2025 is now well underway, and following the first day of deals yesterday, it's clear we're in for a treat as the weekend draws near. The bi-annual shopping event in Australia is officially running until Sunday, August 17 and, based on previous experience, it's highly likely deals will indeed end.

If you're new to Afterpay Day, then it's great to have you here. As a quick explainer, Afterpay Day has become one of the major shopping events on the calendar, thanks to the popularity of the Afterpay buy now, pay later service. It means a good majority of Australian retailers get in on the discount action, but the good news is you don't have to use Afterpay to secure some bargains.

We did see some retailers start their promotions earlier this week, but now Afterpay Day itself has arrived, we've got a much clearer idea of which stores have sales worth checking out.

My team and I will be keeping this page updated throughout the four days, so be sure to check back regularly for any new deals that we spot. As expected, I've already found a plethora of attractive discounts on the likes of headphones, smartphones, vacuum cleaners and other kitchen appliances. This is just the tip of the iceberg, however, and I'll be sure to continue populating the list of deals below.

For now though, take a look at what I have found so far and, if you see a price you like on a product you've been pining for, this will likely be your last chance to secure until Black Friday lands later in the year.

Happy shopping!

Let the Afterpay Deals commence!

Hello deal fans and welcome to our live coverage of Afterpay Day 2025. This is the second Afterpay Day to land this year, with the other occuring back in March.

The good news is, plenty of popular Aussie retailers appear to be getting in on the discount action, as I've already found a smattering of excellent deals for you to peruse. If you don't see anything you like in my current selections, I implore you to check back regularly throughout the next four days, as I'll be adding more and more deals as soon as I spot them.

On that note, you have until Sunday, August 17 to snap up any bargains. So, if you see a price you like for a product you've been keeping an eye on, you should grab it before it's gone.

Sonos headphones sound Ace!

Sonos Ace headphones worn by a woman by a pool

I'm a huge fan of the Sonos Ace headphones, but even I could admit that at AU$699, they were way too expensive when they first launched. So this Afterpay Day deal at Big W Marketplace, bringing them down to AU$499, is sensational.

I personally find them to be one of the most comfortable pairs of headphones I've ever worn, thanks in no small part to a hinge mechanism that ensures they conform to all heads. They sound great, too, although they don't quite rival the sonic talents from the likes of Sony or Bose, and they have decent noise cancelling capabilities.

Where they do excel, however, is when watching movies, particularly those in Dolby Atmos. The Sonos Ace can support the format, and they really do sound cinematic when you're watching on your phone. Plus, if you have a Sonos soundbar, you can send the audio from whatever you're watching on TV to the Ace headphones at the touch of a button – handy if you want to watch something at night and not disturb anyone else in the house.

Plus, thanks to a recently released software update, they now get the long-awaited TrueCinema feature for more immersive movie watching when connected to a Sonos soundbar, and improvements to their ANC abilities.

DJI Osmo 360 camera

(Image credit: Future | Sam Kieldsen)

This palm-sized 360º camera has been on shelves only since the start of August, so it's lovely to see it's already gotten a little discount for Afterpay Day.

Whether you're a content creator chasing more cinematic shots, or a hobbyist capturing your adventures, the Osmo 360 comes in cheaper than some of its Insta360 competitors, particularly the Insta360 X5, but not a lot has been sacrificed to keep costs down.

The Osmo 360 is IP68 certified, so protected from dust and fresh water at up to a metre. You can't, however, shoot underwater as it's only resistant to moisture up to 10m – DJI advices against underwater video capture with this camera.

If you're a landlubber, though, you'll love the footage from its larger sensor and its 10-bit video support. It even supports high frame rates of up to 50fps. And it's battery life isn't too bad either.

If you can get top notch results for a lower price, why wouldn't you opt for the DJI Osmo 360? It gets a 15% discount on its listed eBay price with the use of the checkout code APAY15, but you will need to pay using Afterpay.

It's perhaps very telling that the first deal I find on this Friday morning is for an espresso machine. I think the majority of us can agree that a morning dose of caffeine is practically a necessity, and what better way to get it than with this talented KitchenAid model.

Not only is having one plonked on your kitchen counter a convenient solution to a 6 a.m. brew and saving you a trip to your local cafe, but it also cuts down on your usage of takeaway cups, and it can save you money.

Based on our KitchenAid KF6 review, it's one that's seriously worthy your consideration. To be honest, I wish I had the pleasure of reviewing this one myself, as my colleague Cat gave it a glowing five-star review, with the only faults being real trivial ones.

Not only does the machine look fantastic in my opinion, but it can brew "exceptional espresso" with a delicious, thick crema. There are plenty of customisable drink presets to choose from, and perhaps best of all, it's easy to use.

It could conceivably have been deemed affordable at its original price considering what it can do, but you can now grab the machine, bundled with a milk container and hose for frothing with a tidy AU$458 discount at Amazon.

• KitchenAid KF6: AU$1,799 AU$1,499 at Amazon

Alternatively, if you want your new coffee machine in a more attractive colour – I'm loving the look of Satin White – you can check out KitchenAid's range of exclusive colours for the same price.

Taking the 65-inch variant of the TV and adding the five-star S95TR soundbar, results in a final price of AU$5,794. The TV alone is AU$5,295, so you're getting the superb soundbar for just AU$499.

You can save a little extra if you opt for the other soundbar choice, but if you've been hankering for a truly authentic Dolby Atmos home cinema experience, the S95TR is the way to go.

Create the content you want, retro style

Panasonic Lumix S9 camera in Dark Olive color on a rich red reflective surface

(Image credit: Future | Tim Coleman)

Not only is the Panasonic Lumix S9 one of the cheapest full-frame cameras available today, it can also supports 6K open-gate video and the brand's new LUTs for superb results straight out of camera. Paired with a useful kit lens, you have everything you need here for a high-quality vlogging or videography setup – minus a gimbal and some lighting.

Admittedly we weren't shy about calling out the few compromises this camera makes to keep costs down, and our Panasonic Lumix S9 review talks about the lack of a viewfinder or hot shoe and the lack of a good grip not quite making for the perfect shooting experience, but it does have a niche, retro appeal.

Its specs are almost unbeatable at this price, however, and you do get a superbly portable body if you pair it with a suitable lens, like the one shipping with it in the box in this Amazon deal. Recent updates have also made it a much more capable body, with firmware upgrades including subject detection autofocus modes and remote shooting via the Lumix Lab app.

Honestly, for under two grand, this camera is a steal!
