According to sources speaking to Korea's hit-and-miss media outlet ETNews, the new iPad Air display resolution will stick at 2048 x 1536, but Apple will be loading it with an improved A8 processor.

That A8 chip, believed to also be coming in the iPhone 6, is expected to improve efficiency and enhance battery performance, so you'll get a bit more juice out of the tank.

It's also reported that the new rear camera will make a jump from 5MP to 8MP to align it with the current iPhones, and that the front camera will be boosted from 1.2MP to 1.5MP.
