The LG C5 is one of the best TVs I've tested, and it's just hit a record-low price for Black Friday
I've been waiting for this to happen, but the LG C5 55-inch has finally dropped to its lowest price of $1,049.99 (was $1,246.99) at Amazon US. It's been sitting at $1,196.99 for a while now, but Black Friday has brought this top-tier OLED's price to a new low.
In the UK, the C5 55-inch has had another discount at Crampton & Moore, dropping to £979 (was £1,899), a new record-low price, beating the previous by £20.
I've been watching the Black Friday deals like a hawk, and while there's been some huge discounts on the LG B5, the C5 hasn't been as show-stopping as I'd hoped, but this deal changes things.
Today's best LG C5 55-inch Black Friday deal in the US
A new record-low price for a TV awarded five out of five stars in our LG C5 review, and this latest model is now cheaper than last year's LG C4, which I've been recommending. The OLED display delivers an outstanding picture thanks to LG's Alpha 9 AI processor Gen8, impressive gaming features, and a comprehensive smart platform featuring all-new AI capabilities.

The LG C5 is one of the best OLED TVs I've tested in 2025. It delivers on all fronts, be it movies, gaming, smart applications, you name it.
What impressed me most impressed by the LG C5 was its picture quality. It delivers punchy, vibrant colors that are perfect for animated movies, I tested such as The Wild Robot, and for more colorful real-world movies, such as The Sound of Music. Its color reproduction looks accurate, but really pops on screen when it needs to.
Its contrast is also brilliant, with deep blacks that OLED fans will love and bright highlights to create powerful contrast. Contrast-rich movies such as The Batman and Dark City do truly look fantastic on the C5.
The C5 is up there with the best gaming TVs as well. It has four HDMI 2.1 ports, which all support 4K 144Hz, FreeSync and G-Sync, HGiG, Dolby Vision gaming, and ALLM. Its 9.2ms input lag time delivers ultra-smooth gameplay, even when playing even the most intense games, as I discovered playing Battlefield V. The C5 handled the battle sequences, which required snappy targeting with ease.
