This is a fine if unremarkable choice at a budget price with an impressive 12-hour battery life, surprisingly good 128GB of storage for the price, and a decent-sized 14-inch display.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Plus is a dependable entry-level tablet – and this version is now down to a record-low price. It features an 8.7-inch screen that's bright enough to use outdoors, 128GB of storage, and surround-sound speakers, all packed into a suitably snug frame to use curled up on the sofa. Given the basic components, performance will take a dip if you push it too hard or when playing advanced games, so it's best for light, everyday use.
