What is the release date for Hacks season 5 episode 1 on HBO Max?

Guys — the final season hasn't even started yet, and I'm already crying. Hacks season 5 is sadly the last time Deborah Vance (Jean Smart) and Ava Daniels (Hannah Einbinder) will be reunited on our TVs, unless the pair decides to do an awards show or SNL skit.

This time around, they're making their return to Las Vegas following mistaken reports of Deborah's death. They are determined to cement her legacy with a major comeback, working together to turn a post-gag order scandal into a triumph, as only they can.

What time can I watch Hacks season 5 episode 1 on HBO Max?

For US viewers, Hacks season 5 episode 1 will drop on Thursday, April 9 at 9pm ET.

Internationally, you're looking out for these timings:

  • US – 6pm PT / 9pm ET
  • Canada – 6pm PT / 9pm ET
  • India – Friday, April 10 at 6:30am IST
  • Singapore – Friday, April 10 at 9am SGT
  • Australia – Friday, April 10 at 11am AEDT
  • New Zealand – Friday, April 10 at 12pm NZDT

In the UK, Hacks season 5 will run on Sky and NOW TV from April 17. There's currently no confirmation on when it will come to HBO Max UK.

According to HBO Max, Hacks season 5 will consist of 10 episodes, with new episodes every week (except April 30 and May 7, which will drop two episodes).

This gives us the following schedule:

  • Episode 4: April 30
  • Episode 5: April 30
  • Episode 6: May 7
  • Episode 7: May 7
  • Episode 8: May 14
