  • Amazon has revealed the official trailer for Invincible season 4
  • The footage teases new heroes and villains, plus the start of the Viltrumite War
  • It's also confirmed that the Prime Video show's next chapter will be released in mid-March

At last, Prime Video has released the official trailer for Invincible season 4 – and announced a March 18, 2026 launch date for the hit show's next chapter.

Unveiled a day after a batch of Invincible season 4 first-look images introduced us to three new villains who'll make their debuts in the animated show shortly, the streaming giant has finally seen fit to end our long wait for a proper look at the forthcoming installment.

There's a lot to take in from season 4's main trailer, whose release also marks the 23rd anniversary since Invincible's first comic book was released on January 22, 2003.

Indeed, alongside the usual hyperviolence, the Amazon TV Original's newest teaser is full of big moments.

For one, we get to see Grand Regent Thragg, Universa, and Dinosaurus – the three villains I alluded to earlier – in all of their animated glory for the first time. There's also confirmation that key storylines from Invincible season 3 will carry over into its sequel, including Mark's ongoing struggles to be the hero he wants to be and more melodrama for Atom Eve who – source material spoilers notwithstanding – is having trouble with accessing her powers.

Who are Tech Jacket and Space Racer, the new heroes who we'll see in Invincible season 4?

However, the biggest surprise of the trailer – for those who haven't read the graphic novels, anyway – is the addition of two new heroes who'll join the fight to battle Thragg and his tyrannical Viltrum Empire. The pair in question? Tech Jacket and Space Racer.

Admittedly, we've already seen the former in Invincible's animated adaptation. Tech Jacket was briefly seen fighting one of Mark Grayson's evil multiversal variants in Invincible season 3 episode 7, aka the chapter that depicted the Invincible War.

However, Tech Jacket – real name Zack Thompson – will take an even more important role in the story moving forward. He'll be joined by the legendary cosmic nomad known as Space Racer, who rides an intergalactic motorbike and has a weapon capable of killing any Viltrumite. That'll come in handy, then, for the lengthy battle to come.
