You won't find many gaming laptops that take portability in their stride the same way the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 (2025) does. With an immersive display, an Nvidia RTX 5060 GPU, and a lightweight build, this should be the standard for all gaming laptops.

This model is a step up from its RTX 5060 counterpart, as the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 (2025) is powered by Nvidia's RTX 5070, ready to supercharge gaming and deliver high frame rates. The combination of the GPU's power, OLED 3K display, and the Ryzen 9 270 processor means there's plenty to enjoy here.

Aside from a loud fan and high temperatures under intense activity, the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 (2025) is incredibly impressive.

Considering the horsepower these gaming laptops are packing, many of them end up being heavy, which isn't great for portability. However, the ROG Zephyrus G14 is a very lightweight laptop with its 14-inch display, and has ended up as my favorite due to its ease of use.

While the model I tested is more powerful than these RTX 5060 and RTX 5070 models on sale for Black Friday, expect great performance from all of them when you make reasonable adjustments to graphics settings and use DLSS 4.

The RTX 5070 Ti model gave me an average of 66fps in Cyberpunk 2077 at 1200p, with the ray tracing ultra graphics preset and DLSS 4 balanced enabled – and this should give you a strong indication of what to expect moving down to an RTX 5070 or RTX 5060.
