We're just on the cusp of another Amazon Prime Day now, and you may already have your shopping list ready for the retailer's annual mega-sale. Before you spend a cent, however, know that there are several great perks you might be entitled to just because you're a Prime member.

As with all Prime sales, the retailer has rolled out a range of Prime-exclusive perks that you can take advantage of, including free trials, giveaways, and special promotions. I've been looking through the retailer's listings today and spotted a few decent offerings that total around $555 in value.

Included are extended free trials for Amazon's Music Unlimited streaming service, Kindle Unlimited, and even Audible — that last one is a particularly good offer as you get three audiobooks to keep forever.

There's also the chance to win free groceries, a free GrubHub+ membership, and a very enticing $200 Amazon gift card for those who sign up for an Amazon Visa. That could be particularly handy for getting some discounts over Prime Day.

All of these deals are exclusive to Prime members, but even if you're not already a member, you can simply use the 30-day free trial to gain eligibility. That will get you all these various perks as well as access to any Prime-member exclusive deals that crop up during this year's Amazon Prime Day sale.
