Cyber Monday isn’t over yet – there’s still plenty of time to grab a great deal on a new smartphone, and in a break from tradition we’re even seeing discounts on some of the best iPhones. The best I’ve seen is at John Lewis, where you can grab the iPhone Air for just £899.10 (was £999).

Apple iPhone Air
Apple iPhone Air: was £999 now £899 at John Lewis

The iPhone Air is one of a kind. Apple's first thin-and-light flagship measures just 5.6mm thick, boasts the powerful A19 Pro chipset, and sports a beautiful 6.5-inch display. It's as fast in daily use as it is gorgeous to look at, and at a discount price of £899.10 represents a rare saving on a current-gen flagship iPhone. Just be aware that, due to its smaller frame, battery life is less than other current iPhone models.

This iPhone Air deal matches the price of Amazon’s Black Friday iPhone Air deal, but I’d recommend going with John Lewis as the company offers a two-year guarantee on your purchase, twice the length of Apple’s manufacturer’s warranty.

As for the phone itself, the iPhone Air is Apple’s first phone specifically designed to offer a thinner and lighter form factor. With a 6.5-inch ProMotion display, it sits between the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro in terms of screen size, but at just 5.6mm thick the iPhone Air is much thinner.

Despite its svelte construction the iPhone Air still boasts Apple’s most powerful chipset; it’s equipped with the A19 Pro, the same chipset you’ll find in the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. This gives you plenty of power for multitasking, mobile gaming, and AI via Apple Intelligence.

And though the iPhone Air has just the one 48MP rear camera, it’s one of the best mobile cameras around, with lossless 2x digital zoom for 12MP close-ups. On the front panel, Apple’s new CenterStage selfie camera can take landscape or portrait shots with the phone held upright, making group photos easier than ever.

Apple iPhone 16e: was £599 now £449 at Lebara Mobile

Lebara has the budget-focused iPhone 16e available for a record-low £449 right now. As Apple's cheapest current-generation handset, the iPhone 16e brings the essential iPhone experience to a more accessible price point, while retaining great features like the 48MP Fusion Camera and Action button. Sure, it was too expensive at launch, but this discounted price is much more in line with that of comparable handsets like the Google Pixel 9a and Samsung Galaxy A56. £449 is a steal.

Apple iPhone 16: was £699 now £599 at Lebara Mobile

The iPhone 16 is still a great pick for Apple fans one year after release. It's got a beautiful 6.1-inch display, two high-quality cameras with the Camera Control shutter button, and the speedy A18 chipset with support for Apple Intelligence. At this record-low, Amazon-beating price, the iPhone 16 is barely more expensive than the budget-tier iPhone 16e, and it beats that device on multiple fronts. Lebara is offering all five colours at this record-low price, and if stock runs low, Laptops Direct also has the green variant at £599.

Apple iPhone 17 Pro
Save £30
Apple iPhone 17 Pro: was £1,299 now £1,269 at John Lewis

John Lewis has knocked £30 off the price of the iPhone 17 Pro with 512GB of storage, and hey, we'll take it. Big cash discounts on iPhones are hard to come by, so this is probably as good as we'll get. Nevertheless, the iPhone 17 Pro is a superbly powerful compact phone, with a 6.3-inch display, the powerful A19 chipset, and a triple-camera system that beats all competitors. This model comes with 512GB of storage, giving you loads of room for apps, games, photos, and videos.
